This city and county is the epitome of a crooked gov. Look at the recent courthouse security upgrade. The Sherriff hired his old retired pals to man the gates bypassing younger people starting careers. These geezers will stand around drinking coffee and when an incident does occur they will call 911 and let the young deputies handle it.Also, the state needs to look into the dirty deals involving both old stadiums. Tax money is being used to develop land for a private entity to make money, an entity run by the local politicians. They are stealing money from their right hand using their left, our money that is.

Oh and even worse the Mayor is actually promoting APEX, a tank farm on the river bank, an above ground hazardous material tank farm which sits above the City of Weirton and Steubenville City Water Intakes - unregulated and unsafe - typical Weirton Politics - Charleston is losing their water and Weirton is promoting River side Hazardous Material tanks - ****!

Mr. Mayor, you have no shame or integrity. Most of the efforts you've taken credit for were not accomplished by you, the City of Weirton or the BDC, yet you use others work to try and make your cronies look good. The Sewer project is happening because you were sued by the EPA for being 20-30 behind. You have serious water, sewer, power, communications, road, rail issues, all with serious dilapidation. You had the Redevelopment Authority apply for Blighted Community status a couple of years ago for most of Weirton - BLIGHTED?? not much of a positive yet you hide all of that from the citizens - shame shame shame. This house of cards will fall.
