Great letter Jim, spot on. Problem us that local officials lie, consistently. Look at some of the press on theIr economic development organizations. They fabricate job numbers, using tax payer dollars for all their crony ideas! In secret, breaking all fed and wv transparency laws, and most of the boards are public officials. Others claim we r just naysayers, when the fact is the infrastructure is totally gone, they refuse to be honest with their citizens. Their water is at risk, yet they deny it. Then when a company comes and doesn't want to pay homage to the cronies, they apply antitrust techniques to prevent them from operating. It's been the standard MO of this region, and now even has the governors office thru their employment of a past local official, is now participating in antitrust activities, but it will all come out soon. And the newspaper, wow, yellow journalism at its best, only reports what the cronies allow, so the people have no idea of the risk they are in.
