Local therapist to host radio show
Dr. Aldo Pucci, director of the Rational Living Therapy Institute in Weirton, will host a weekly radio show titled, "Your Emotional Health."
Pucci's show will air from 11:30 a.m. to noon every Sunday on Pittsburgh's Newstalk 104.7 FM and will begin Sunday.
The show can also be heard via live streaming audio at www.wpgb.com.
Pucci's show will cover a wide variety of topics, including depression, anxiety, panic, anger, weight issues, substance abuse and addiction, and eating disorders.
Listeners will have the opportunity to call in to ask Pucci questions.
WesBanco sponsors 'Insurance Days'
WesBanco Insurance Services will be hosting "Insurance Days" in early November. Events will be held at WesBanco's Weirton Banking Centers on two consecutive days from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Weir multi-class reunion open to alumni
The Weir High School Classes of 1987-90 are opening up the multi-class reunion to welcome any Weir High School alumni who would like to attend.
The reunion dinner dance will be held on Nov. 29 at Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort. RSVPs for the $60 per person event are currently being collected and are due by Nov. 10. Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 7 p.m.

Drama students to take part in program
The Oak Glen High School Drama Department will take part in the Tri-State Chaplaincy Annual Singspriation and Fundraiser at 6 p.m. on Sunday at the First Church of the Nazarene on Walnut Street in East Liverpool.
The public is invited to attend this event.
'Coats for Kids' event set
ABATE of W.Va. Inc., Upper Ohio Valley Chapter will host their annual "Coats for Kids" Euchre Tournament on Nov. 15 at Legends Caf, located at 1900 Pennsylvania Ave. in Weirton. Entry fee is $5. There will be food, prizes and a 50/50 drawing.
Sign up begins at 1 p.m., games start at 2 p.m. All proceeds will benefit The Salvation Army's "Coats for Kids" program

Meucci lodge plans fall football trip
Members of the Antonio Meucci Lodge No. 2506 of the Sons of Italy met on Oct. 14, at Undo's in the Weirton Holiday Inn.
President Gino Guglielmo opened the meeting with a welcome to new members. Mary Rose Spano gave the invocation followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Anthony LaRosa.
The menu consisted of house salad, spare ribs, rigatoni, veal parmesan, stuffed shells, green beans and assorted desserts.
The minutes were read by Secretary Diane Pastoric. Linda Phabe, financial secretary, gave her report. Treasurer Carol Valenti gave a detailed report which will be filed for audit.
Regina Truax, sunshine chair, reported she did not have to send any get well cards or sympathy cards this month. Birthday greetings were sung to Carol Valenti.
Regina Truax reported on trips and tours: Oct. 28, noon, A Musical Tribute to the Songs of Tony Bennett, "I Left My Heart," Station Dinner Theater, dinner, show, and transportation, $58; Nov. 3, The Meadows Race Track and Casino, $10 playing time and transportation, also stopping at the new Tanger Outlets, $25; Nov. 18, Oglebay's "Festival of Lights" package includes dinner at Wilson Lodge, a tour of the lights and transportation, $46; Nov. 28, noon, West Virginia University and University of Pittsburgh football at Heinz Field, game, transportation and food on bus; bus will depart K-Mart at 10:30 a.m., $65; Dec 12, 7 p.m., "Doo Wop" Show, Mellon Arena, show and transportation, $66.

Truax won the 50/50 drawing. Mums were won by Carl Truax, Chris Barker, Liz McGrogan, Laura Settepanella, Anthony LaRosa, Guglielmo, Margaret Disirio, Pauline Tortis, Anthony D'Alesio, Ralph Barone, Emanual Merenda and Carman Pulice.
The next meeting will be held on Nov. 11.
