Talk radio rendered itself useless

November 16, 2008

To the Editor,

The media pundits on talk radio are in disarray. Does Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and talk radio want to cause chaos in America so they can have something to talk about for the next four years or will they join in with the President of the United States, Barack Obama, our president, not a red or blue president but America's president, to restore our nation as the greatest society ever and restore our place in the world, as the number one leader in the world for peace and prosperity.

Nothing of what they're saying - opinion - has to be a truth, some of what they're saying can be a half truth.

Their credibility is shot because now they introduce themselves as entertainers. Sean Hannity's repetitious salvo of hate speech every day for months, Rev. Wright, Bill Ayers, Fr. Pflugeger trying to tie the end to Obama was the type of propaganda Joseph Goebbels used in Hitler's hate-filled Germany.

The political pundits on talk radio, Hannity, Limbaugh, O'Reilly and Savage told lie after lie about Barack Obama.

Telling the public every day what Obama was going to do in the future from appointing federal judges to illegal immigration.

The reason I call them lies not opinion is no one can predict the future. They made up versions of the worst kind to instill fear in the voters not to vote for Obama.

How fitting for history. A black man wins the presidency and now owns the bedroom of the man that freed his ancestors for the next four years, Abe Lincoln.

No need to revisit the fairness doctrine.

As my old football coach used to say, talk radio rendered itself as useless as nipples on a boar hog as far as having any effect on the presidential election. The pundits destroyed themselves.
