Time for Americans to roll up their sleeves and go to work

To the Editor,

The election is over and rather than complaining, I choose to roll up my sleeves and get to work. I hope that each of you will do the same and that by sharing the responsibility for the failure of this nation, we may share also in the enormous task that we now face in saving this nation!

First, we need to STOP any further bail out bills! We cannot allow our government officials to borrow another $600 billion from China! It will only create the next Great Depression. We need to examine the Fair Tax Legislation introduced by Boortz and Linder in H.B. 25 and S.B. 1025, because only in this bill is their hope for our economy.

I urge President-elect, Barack Obama to study this book and these bills because they will work. While setting Americans free from the IRS and personal, payroll, and corporate income taxes, it will generate more than $15 trillion each year in healthy revenue. It will bring more than $12 trillion dollars back into the American economy hidden in offshore accounts.

It will eliminate the estate and capital gains taxes, regenerating our stock market! All other taxes will become obsolete as we impose the 20-23% imbedded Federal Sales Tax or Consumption Tax. It will be paid on every item sold in America and most people will not feel the effect of this tax, because it is imbedded in the price.

There will be prebates on the tax for all who are living at poverty level, so that it will not hurt their income.

Another stimulating plus for Americans is that they will receive an automatic raise! No more payroll, Social Security, or Fica Taxes to pay! Imagine taking home your gross paycheck! Imagine no more April 15th deadline and the stresses associated with that! Imagine eliminating the 57,000 page IRS tax codes!

Industries that were shipping jobs overseas will return to America in droves, fighting to reestablish in America because they will no longer have to pay taxes!

Our economy will be thriving and flourishing within the first five years of implementing this tax system!

We can "spread the wealth" around by mandating that these businesses locate throughout the United States, thereby balancing the economies of all 50 of our United States. There will be an immediate increase of jobs flooding our markets!

We also need to raise our import taxes to stimulate the American economy and we need to raise the currency exchange rate, to further offset the foreign exchange.

If we will all band together and fight for H.B. 25 and S.B. 1025 to pass, inundating our elected officials with calls, letters, and emails, we will succeed in saving this nation!

With this new economic plan, America can wipe out her national deficit in the next four years, balance her budget, cover Social Security, Medicaid/care, and if we take the Special Retirement Fund that all of our politicians hoard and dump it into the General Social Security Fund?

Well, you can bet they won't touch it because it will negatively impact the greedy politicians who have all but destroyed our economy!

Please step up to the plate and use your gifts, talents, experience and expertise to make America great once more. Help me fight to get this legislation passed!
