Sue Ann Davis

DAVIS, Sue Ann, 81, of Steubenville, died Thursday June 18, 2009, at the Trinity West emergency room.

She was born August 15, 1927, in Steubenville.

She is the daughter of the late Henry J. and Elizabeth Peters Mark. She also is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Davis, brother Raymond Mark and three sisters; Elizabeth Fox, Katie Kaufmann and Margaret Dougherty.

Surviving are two sons; Charles M. Davis, of Newport Beach, Calif., and John M. Davis, of Steubenville and three grandchildren; Ashley Nicole Davis, Justin Davis and Alec Davis.

Sue was a Catholic, and the co-owner of CJ's Restaurant and former Davis Tavern.

Calling hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mosti Funeral Home, Sunset Chapel, 4435 Sunset Blvd., Steubenville.

A funeral liturgy with mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peters Catholic Church, Msgr. George Yontz celebrant.

There will be a vigil service at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
