Frank Rosso

ROSSO, FRANK, 67, of Follansbee, WV passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2009, at UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA.

He was born on September 8, 1941, in Follansbee, WV; son of the late James and Elizabeth Confalone (Rossi) Rosso, also preceded by his brother, Lawrence Rosso. Frank was a devoted husband, loving father, & his grandchildren were his pride & joy.

He started his career in 1959, as the Waldorf Beer Distributor Co., where he was president. Frank dedicated his life to the growth of the family business. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Garibaldi, Cedar Lodge, all of Follansbee, WV Beer Wholesalers Association, National Beer Wholesalers Association.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Sinovcic Rosso at home; one son, James Rosso and wife, Mary Margaret of Wellsburg, WV; one daughter, Karen Haskins & husband, Ashley of Greenville, SC; one sister, Caroline Fraley and Husband, Howard of Sarasota, FL; six grandchildren: Dante, Isabella and Sophia Rosso of Wellsburg, WV, Victoria, Anna Grace and Frankie James Haskins of Greenville, SC; and three nieces and two nephews.

Friends will be received on Saturday, August 1, 2009, from 7-9 p.m. and on Sunday, August 2, from 2-8 p.m at the James Funeral Home, 1245 Main St. Follansbee, WV.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, August 3, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Anthony Catholic Church in Follansbee, WV, with Father Pete Giannamore as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Follansbee, WV.
