The Weirton United Way will hold the first report luncheon of the 2009 campaign at noon Friday at the Serbian American Cultural Center.

Dr. Joseph Endrich, president and chief executive officer of Weirton Medical Center, will serve as the guest speaker.

Dan Enich will give the call for reports.

Lunch will be served at a cost of $6 per person, and will include a fish dinner buffet.

The campaign officially kicked off recently with the goal set to raise $280,000 for the year. More than $100,000 had been raised through various events held earlier in the year.

This year's campaign chair is Brian James of ArcelorMittal Steel. The vice chair is Kristin Bowman Cross.
