The Downtown Business Association

The Downtown Business Association (DBA), along with Progress Alliance, the Business Development Corporation of the Northern Panhandle (BDC) and Valley Ventures, will be participating in the second annual Regional Economic Forum. The event is designed to discuss the 2010 economic outlook for Hancock, Brooke and Jefferson counties.

The forum will be held at noon on Tuesday at the IBEW Local 246 Hall, located at 626 North Fourth St., in downtown Steubenville. No reservations are required; a $5 admission fee will be collected at the door.

Panelists at the forum include the Rev. Richard Davis, TOR, vice president of community relations for the Franciscan University of Steubenville; Brian James, plant manager for Arcelor Mittal; Dan Guida of the DBA; Pat Ford of the BDC; Lou Stein of Valley Ventures; and Ed Looman of Progress Alliance. Additional forum sponsors are The Steubenville Herald Star, The Weirton Daily Times and IBEW Local 246.
