Culinary specialist Cheryl Cohen demonstrated 10 recipes as part of this year's "Fresh Picked Favorites" program. The cooking school, organized by The Weirton Daily Times and Herald-Star, was sponsored this year by Frank and Jerry's Furniture and Appliance, Hancock County Savings Bank, M&M True Value Hardware, Shop 'n Save in Weirton and First Class Tour Club. As part of the evening's festivities, those in attendance watched Cohen as she prepared a variety of dishes, with everything from a sausage breakfast casserole to a chocolate orange tart making an appearance.
