Prom gown sale set for weekend

Justyne Obeldobel, a senior student at Brooke High School, will share the benefits of her community service project with young women of the Tri-State Area this weekend. Her project, "The Cinderella Story," included a gathering "gently worn" cocktail, formal and prom dresses; evening shoes; and jewelry that will be sold

"I?had all of my own homecoming and prom dresses hanging in my closet, and I wasn't sure what to do with them. Then I?got the idea for a dress sale," said Obeldobel. "But, I wanted to create a Tri-State Area-sized dress sale, and sell the dresses at reasonable prices for girls who can't afford to pay hundreds of dollars for a dress."

Thus far Obeldobel has collected over 50 dresses in various sizes, and dresses will be priced under $50.

The sale will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday in the Art Room of Brooke High School. Directional signs will be posted.

For information contact Obeldobel at (304)?374-6042.
