STEUBENVILLE - Chuck and Jean Barker of Steubenville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary July 16.
The couple were married July 16, 1960, in Starkdale Presbyterian Church.
He is the son of the late John and Gertrude Barker. He is retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel.

She is the daughter of the late Krell and Rose Kerr. She worked at Franciscan University of Steubenville in the cafeteria.
They have four children, Charles Jr., Cathy Hoover, Christopher and Cory.
The Barkers have 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
They celebrated their anniversary with a family dinner.
