BLOOMINGDALE - Joseph and Viola Miller of Bloomingdale celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Friday.
The couple were married Aug. 6, 1960, in the Bloomingdale United Methodist Church parsonage.
He is retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. with 32 years' service. She was head cook at Jefferson County Joint Vocational School before her retirement.

The couple have four children: Penny of Temple, Texas; Rose and Joe of Bloomingdale; and Kent of Columbus. They also have five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
