STEUBENVILLE - Bob "Boney" and Marge Moran of Steubenville celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary at a pool party held at the home of their daughter.
They were married Aug. 9, 1945.
He is the son of the late Fred and Hazel Moran. He is an Army veteran of World War II and participated in the Invasion of Normandy. He is retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.

She is the daughter of the late Hugh and Altai Burns. She worked as a telephone operator for Ohio Bell Telephone Co. and is an artist and a homemaker.
They have two children, Terry, and Marsha Wyckoff, both of Steubenville. They have six grandchildren.
