WINTERSVILLE - Triumph of the Cross Church in Steubenville was the setting for the March 13 wedding that united Kris Crew and Colleen Franckhauser in marriage. The 1 p.m. ceremony was celebrated by the Rev. Thomas Nau.
Escorted to the altar and given in marriage by her parents Robert and Harriet Franckhauser of Wintersville, the bride chose an ivory A-line strapless gown with a cathedral-length train. She carried a bouquet of ivory roses with white gardenias.
The groom is the son of Ralph and Marilyn Crew of Wintersville.

Sara Zimnox of Pittsburgh, sister of the bride, served as the matron of honor. Eric Crew of Wintersville, brother of the groom, served as the best man. Bridesmaids were Tiffany Franckhauser, Erin Brown, Jessica Orenchuk, Adrienne D'Ulisse and April Crew. Groomsmen were Todd Galownia, Landau Minto, Matt Louk, George Zadanski and Wayne Dawson. The ring bearer was Jordan Crew, nephew of the groom.
A reception was held at the Serbian American Cultural Center in Colliers. The newlyweds honeymooned in the Bahamas.
The bride is a graduate of Catholic Central High School and Jefferson Community College with an associate degree in business management and a certificate in medical assisting.
She is employed by the Schiappa branch library. The groom is a graduate of Indian Creek High School, Jefferson Community College and Ohio State University with a bachelor degree in finance. They reside in Wintersville.
