WEIRTON - Lindsay Renee Zatezalo and Michael Christopher Kalata were united in marriage at 1:30 p.m. May 22 at Sacred Heart of Mary Church with the Rev. Kent Durig officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Becky Zatezalo of Weirton and the late Nick Zatezalo Jr. The groom is the son of Tom and Christine Kalata, also of Weirton.
The bride wore a strapless, A-line gown with a chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of ivory calla lilies.

Jenna Merandi of Shinnston, W.Va., served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Mareesa Cunningham of Wheeling; Lori Hill of Charleston, W.Va.; Jennifer Zatezalo of Weirton, cousin of the bride; and Stephanie Kalata of Weirton, sister of the groom. The flower girl was Rory Youst of Weirton, niece of the bride.
Joseph Carnes of Weirton served as best man. Groomsmen included Ed and Joseph Kalata of Weirton, brothers of the groom; Chad Roney of Fredericksburg, Va.; and Adriano Garritano of Wheeling.
A reception was held at St. Florian Hall in Wintersville. The couple honeymooned in the Dominican Republic at the Majestic Elegance Resort in Punta Cana.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Weir High school and a May 2010 graduate of West Virginia University with a doctorate degree in pharmacy. She is working to complete a joint pharmacy practice residency with the WVU School of Pharmacy and Mylan Pharmaceuticals in Morgantown.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Weir High School and a 2007 graduate of WVU with bachelor's degrees in electrical and computer engineering. He is employed by Allegheny Power as an engineer in Fairmont.
The couple reside in Morgantown.
