FOLLANSBEE - Ken and Eva "Skip" Barkley of Follansbee celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday.
The couple were married Oct. 15, 1960, at the Colliers United Methodist Church by the late Rev. Norman Loughfman.
Ken is the son of the late William and Annabelle Barkley, and Eva is the daughter of the late Eugene and Elizabeth McFarland.

He is retired after 38 years with Weirton Steel Corp.
The couple have a son, Paul, and a daughter, Beth Ann. They also have four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
They celebrated with a family dinner at DeeJays.
