WEIRTON - Kayla Cline and Eric Violet were united in marriage Aug. 14 at Cove Presbyterian Church in Weirton with the Rev. Ed Rudiger officiating.
Parents of the bride are Linda Cline of Colliers and the late Douglas Cline.
She is also the granddaughter of Eleanor Cline of Weirton.
Parents of the groom are Ed and Brenda Violet of Bellaire.
The bride wore a strapless A-line gown with horizontal satin band detail and beaded lace applique.
The bridesmaids were Staci and Molly Cline, sisters of the bride; Ruby Bonovich, cousin of the bride; and Katie Bayness, Jenna Hoperich, Tasha Sauvageot, and Brittany Kocher, friends of the bride; and Kayley Violet, niece of the groom. Flower girls were Kymberlyn and Karmendy Violet, nieces of the groom.
The groomsmen were Keith Violet, brother of the groom; Seth West, cousin of the groom; and Clayton Cwalinski, Ryan Dodds, Richard Kendle, Scott Breiding and Christ Ofat, friends of the groom.
The ring bearer was Benjamin Minor.
A reception was held at St. Florian Hall in Wintersville.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Brooke High School and a 2008 graduate of Bethany College. She will graduate with a master's degree in special education from West Liberty University in December.
She is employed by Hancock County Schools and teaches special education at Weir Middle School.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Bellaire High School and a 2006 graduate of Ohio University with a bachelor's degree in business.
He is employed as a human resource generalist at Warren Distribution in Glendale, WV.
The couple took a wedding trip to Pine Lakes Lodge in Cambridge. They reside in Yorkville.
