STEUBENVILLE - Christine Creegan and Michael Da Mata were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Sept. 25 at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Monsignor George Yontz officiating.
The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her parents, Sean and Jean Creegan of Steubenville.
The groom is the son of Manuel and Zulmira Da Mata of Palm Coast, Fla.
Shannon Wills, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Danielle Hamann, Lori Jackson, Jennifer Benzo, Carolyn Martin, Heather Miletic, Lindsay Murray, Hannah Skeens-Clark, Helena Szypulski, Jamie Dent, Ciarra Wilson and Brandi DiAngelo. Colleen Lowe, cousin of the bride, served as junior bridesmaid, and goddaughter of the bride, Emmy Martin, was the flower girl.
Brother of the groom Manuel Da Mata served as best man. Groomsmen included Sean and Kyle Creegan, Mike and Matthew Sarrao, Christopher and Ian Feist, David and Christopher Oliva, Ryan Hamann, David Molesky and Aaron Wilkinson, with Dryden Murray serving as ring bearer.
After a reception at St. Florian Hall, the newlyweds spent three weeks honeymooning in Italy, the Mediterranean and England.
The bride is a graduate of Catholic Central High School and West Liberty State College with a bachelor's degree in English and writing.
The groom is a graduate of Bishop Loughlin High School and Brooklyn College.
They reside in Palm Coast.
