WINTERSVILLE - Sarah E. Brown and Justin Tegano were united in marriage on Oct. 10 on the beach of the Hilton Oceanfront Resort in Hilton Head, S.C. The Rev. Philip Makari of Starkdale Presbyterian Church in Steubenville officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Brown of Wintersville, and the groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph Tegano of Steubenville.
The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore an a-line silk gown with crystal beading on neckline and carried a bouquet of white hydrangea, roses, calla lilies and green orchids.
The maid of honor was Dr. Jennifer Brown, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Danielle Nelson, Kristin Yakulis, Michelle Klettlinger and Shana D'Aurora. The flower girl was Paige Snyder, cousin of the bride.
The best man was John Tegano, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Chris Pentes, Kevin Roshak and Michael Tripodi, and Tommy Brown, brother of the bride. The ring bearers were Alec and Cole Tegano, nephews of the groom.
The bride is a graduate of West Virginia University and completed her master's degree in human resources from Robert Morris University. She is employed in management at Express Inc. in Robinson Township, Pa.
The groom received his bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Michigan and completed his master's degree at the University of Pittsburgh.
He is the owner of Tegano Financial, a financial advisory practice.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Oceanfront Shorehouse within the Hilton Oceanfront Resort.
The couple reside in Imperial, Pa.
