WEIRTON - Lori Lee Travelstead and Melvyn Lawrence Coleman Jr., along with their parents, announce their engagement.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jim and Carolyn Travelstead of Fairmont, W.Va. She is a graduate of Fairmont Senior High School who earned a teaching degree from Fairmont State University and a master's degree from West Virginia University and Marshall University. She is employed as an educator for the Marion County Board of Education.
The groom-to-be is the son of Melvin Sr. and Nora Coleman of Weirton. He is a graduate of Weir High School. He earned an education degree from Fairmont State University and a master's from WVU and Salem. He is employed by Marion County Schools as an assistant principal.
