WELLSBURG - Carol Cipoletti of Wellsburg announces the engagement of her daughter, Morgan Lynn, to Steven Palmer Smith, son of Dr. and Mrs. Norton P. Smith of Morgantown.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Brooke High School and a 2008 graduate of West Virginia University with a master's degree in secondary education and a bachelor's degree in Spanish.
She is employed by Berkeley County Schools as a Spanish teacher and serves as foreign language department chair.

The groom-to-be is a 1997 graduate of University High School in Morgantown, a 2001 graduate of St. Francis University with a bachelor's degree in English literature and a 2003 graduate of Clarion University with a master's degree in library science. He is employed by Berkeley County Schools as a librarian.
They plan to be married Nov. 12 at Wellsburg Christian Church.
