NEW ALEXANDRIA - John and Karen DiCesare of New Alexandria announce the engagement of their son, John DiCesare, to Amanda Gallick, daughter of Lawrence and Carren Gallick from Robinson, Pa.
The groom-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Buckeye Local High School, a 2008 graduate of Kent State University with a bachelor's degree in music education. He received a master's degree in music from KSU. He is employed by the Pittsburgh Diocese teaching instrumental music in three Pittsburgh Catholic schools.
His fiancee is a 2005 graduate of West Allegheny High School in Imperial, Pa., and a 2010 graduate of KSU with a bachelor of music degree.
