Hospice, Cummings event a success

To the editor:

Fundraisers and giving back to the community are important parts of Charity Hospice in Wintersville. We believe that sharing and caring go a long way toward serving our community. Our annual spaghetti dinner, which was held April 15, certainly relates to that belief. We were proud to donate 50 percent of this year's proceeds to the Justin Cummings fund. Thanks to the large turnout, that was a substantial amount. Without the help of wonderful donors, sponsors and workers, this result would not have been possible.

On behalf of our administrator, Cathy Cich, the board of directors and our staff, I wish to thank the following: Cleveland Indians; Pittsburgh Pirates; Pittsburgh Steelers; Capri Sausage. Dee Jays Ribs; Damon's Grille; Mario's Restaurant; Borden Office Equipment; Federico Foods; the Ville Restaurant; Eat 'n Park in Steubenville and Weirton; Suzy's Hallmark; Bob Evans Restaurant; Aubrey's Bakery; J.C.
