RUSINOVICH, Dolores, 85, of Weirton, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012 in the Life Line Hospital, Wintersville, OH.
Born February 16, 1927 in Weirton, she was a daughter of the late Elias and Ella Simon. She was also preceded in death by her husband Vincent Rusinovich on March 21, 1980, brothers Jimmy and Thomas Simon and sister Anna Rusinovich.
For 13 years, Dolores served as a cook at the Weirton Geriatric Center. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church. Mrs. Rusinovich was an excellent cook. She loved playing bingo with her friends, reading and crocheting. Ask anyone and they will tell you that Dolores never met a stranger.
She is survived by her daughter Theresa "Terry" Zinn (Denver) of Weirton, with whom she made her home; sons Walter "Woody" and his wife Karen of Jacksonville, FL and Joseph of Los Angeles, CA; brother Paul Simon and his wife Betty of Weirton; sister Eleanor Chenosky of Peora, AZ; grandchildren David Zinn and Amy Eaton and her husband Jon and several nieces, nephews and very special friends.
Visitation will be held Sunday 4-8 p.m. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV, where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Monday. Dolores's nephew, Walter Jagela will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
