WEIRTON - Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Aftanas of Weirton announce the engagement of their daughter, Megan Marie, to Ryan Lloyd Warner, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Warner of Milton, W.Va.
The bride-to-be is a 2008 graduate of Weir High School and is pursuing a master's degree from West Virginia University in elementary education and special education. She plans to complete her degree and graduate next spring.
Her fiance is a 2008 graduate of Cabell Midland High School and is a 2012 graduate of WVU with a bachelor's degree in petroleum and natural gas engineering. He is employed as a field engineer at Chesapeake Energy.
