ADKINS, Marjorie E., 79, of Weirton, W.Va., passed away Friday, June 22, 2012, at the Weirton Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 1, 1933, in Clarktown, Ohio. The daughter of the late James E. and Gladys Hancock Burns.
She was also preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Harold L. Adkins, on Dec. 23, 2004; son, James Adkins on May 11, 2010; grandson, Lance Aaron; brother, Dean Burns.
Marjorie was the retired co-owner of the former Adkins & Son Upholstery of Weirton for 24 years.
Surviving are her daughter; Cheryl Kissel (David) of Weirton, W.Va.; daughter-in-law, Lorrie Adkins of Weirton, W.Va.; son, Keith Adkins (Veronica) of Colonial Heights, Va.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home, Inc., 380 Penco Road, Weirton, W.Va., on Monday 5-8 p.m. where the funeral will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m.
Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
