The Jared Harlan Band entertained area residents with a mix of classic and current country music and some rock and roll at the first free concert held Thursday as part of Wellsburg’s weeklong celebration of Independence Day. Held at 7 p.m. at Wellsburg Central Park and sponsored by various businesses and community members, the concerts also will feature 40 Plus today; Chameleon on Friday; Twice as Nice on Saturday; the Four Townsmen on Sunday; Cross Creek on Monday; and Refugee on Tuesday.
