MURRAY, Lynda M., 68, of Weirton, WV passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at Brightwood Center, Follansbee, after a courageous four-year battle with breast cancer.
She was born September 30, 1943 in Glen Dale, WV, a daughter of the late Thomas Murray & Beatrice Anderson.
She is also preceded in death by a sister, Ryth Hayhurst and her step-father, George Anderson.

Lynda previously worked at Weirton Steel Canteen Services, was owner of Lynda's Kountry Kitchen, Almost New Shop, Lynda's Tavern, Attic Treasures, Twice Elite Consignment Shop and Lynda's Loft. She was a homemaker and enjoyed camping at Tappan Lake for 17 years and attended Kings Creek Church of God.
Surviving are four children, Sonya (Mike) Brown, Linda Kay (Ronald) Manning, Clinton Spencer and companion Russell, and Raylena Givens, all of Weirton, WV; four sisters, Jeanie Murray, Sherrie Boyd, Becky Gregson and Bea Ann Wells, all of Weirton, WV; two brothers, Tommy (Debbie) Murray of Cameron, WV and Mike Wells of Middlebourne, WV; and five grandchildren, Candis, Cameron, Dylan, Kacie and Spencer.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
