To the editor:
I want to thank everyone who voted for me during my tenure as a trustee.
There are questions, though, about how money is currently being spent. No roads in the township were blacktopped - we had all summer and $600,000, but the trustees voted themselves life insurance if they pass a test. It does not cost them one penny - the people in the township are going to pay it all.
I pay for my insurance - who pays yours? They make good money - a trustee makes $700 a month. All that money and no blacktop. They did cut a tree down on private property. That tree was not in our way. I think it cost $200 or $300.
