HEATH, Walter A."Doc" Sr., 71, of Bloomingdale, OH, formerly of Martins Ferry, OH, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at North Care Center, Steubenville, OH.
He was born Apr. 29, 1941 in Martins Ferry, a son of the late Colonial N. and Vera M. (Hails) Heath.
He was retired from the Fisher Pest Control Company of Steubenville, OH. Walter was a member of the American Legion Post 557, Wintersville, OH, and Mingo Sportsman Club of Mingo Junction. He was a veteran of U.S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Norman, James, Harold, Sr. and Charles Heath.
Surviving are two sons, Walter "Rocky" (Tammy) Heath, Jr., and Stephen (Candace) Heath all of Mingo Junction, OH, a daughter, Kimberley S. (Mark) Constantine of Wintersville, a sister, Gloria M. Ledger of Manassas, VA, his former wife, Barbara (Bender) Heath, seven grandchildren: Raechelle, Jessica, and Megan Heath, Grace, Andrew, and Maxwell Constantine, and Parker Heath, and two great grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
