HOWELL, Ross Daniel "Dan," 55, of Virginia Beach, VA formerly of Weirton, WV passed away Tuesday June 19, 2012 ,at home.
He was born July 19, 1956, in Weirton, WV. The son of the late Ross William and Chris Gipp Howell. He was a U.S. Army veteran. "Dan" was a retired roofing inspector.
Surviving are his "significant other" Susan Fite; daughter, Alex Rodgers; son, Daniel Joseph Howell, all of Virginia Beach, VA; four grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Eckels (Rich) of Weirton, WV, Eva Mankowski of Tennessee, and Susi Varner (Chuck) of Weirton, WV.
There will be no visitation. Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens with Rev. Ernest Creamer officiating. Military funeral honors will be provided by the WV Honor Guard & American Legion Post No. 10 honor guard.
