MERCER, Roxie Virginia, 76, of Weirton, WV passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at her residence.
She was born July 18, 1935 in Middlebourne, WV, a daughter of the late Friend Benjamin & Virginia Katherine (Myers) Leek. She is also preceded in death by four brothers and one sister.
Roxie was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, Derwin Mercer at home, two sisters, Pauline Midcap of Short Creek, WV and Rose Rice of Wellsburg, WV.
Friends will be received Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Turley Funeral Home.
Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the Simpson Cemetery in Tyler County, WV.
