BRETTELL, Gary D., 62, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed away Monday, July 9, 2012, at Acuity Specialty Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio.
He was born July 23, 1949, in Wheeling, WV a son of the late John E. "Jack" and Helen J. (Bowman) Brettell.
Gary worked as a Millwright at Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He was also a member of the Mingo First United Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are two brothers, John E. "Jack" (Cheryl) Brettell and Kenneth "Pose" Brettell, both of Mingo; five sisters, Kathy Brettell of Steubenville, Judy (Kim) Walker of Brilliant, Toni (Tim) Newberry of Pickerington, Ohio, Tommie Matello of Mingo and Helen Brettell of Mingo Junction; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 17, at 1 p.m. at Oakland Cemetery in Mingo, with Pastor Kenn Sickle, officiating.
