DAVIS, John Robert "Bob," 80, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, at the Life Line Hospital of Wintersville, Ohio.
He was born on May 5, 1932, in Steubenville, Ohio, the son of William Joseph and Mary Magdeline Lauhlin. On June 27, 1987, Bob married Judy Kay Kohnfelder in Weirton, WV.
Bob was a master electrician for many different facilities over the years including Weirton Medical Center. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Family of God Christian Center in Weirton. He was also a cornerstone in the development of the New Life Worship Center in Weirton, where he was known as "The General."

Along with his parents, Bob is preceded in death by his daughter, Diana Lynn Davis and his sister, Mary (Paul) Virtue.
Bob is survived by his wife, Judy Kay Davis; sons Robert Edward (Sharon) Davis of Colliers, WV, and Kevin (Mary) Davis of Weirton; stepchildren Janet Lemley Nall of Weirton and David Lemley (Joan) of Sanford, NC; brothers William (Jan) Davis of Tiger, GA, and Kurt (Pat) Davis of Franklin, NC.
Bob is also survived by nine grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who were very close to his heart.
Visitation will be at the Steel and Wolfe Funeral Home Inc., 3721 Main Street, Weirton, on Tuesday, July 10 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 11 at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with Pastor Craig Greathouse and Pastor Bob Mazeroski officiating. Burial will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Weirton.
