DELGRECO, Florence (Benaquisto), 92, of Hopewell Township, passed away Thursday July 12, 2012 in Trinity Oaks, Brighton Township.
Born January 13, 1920 in Aliquippa, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Chiara (Petitta) Benaquisto.
Mrs. DelGreco was a member of St. Titus Catholic Church in Aliquippa and the Queens of Columbus.. She was an artistic person who excelled painting and floral design.
Florence was a wonderful homemaker, an excellent cook and she was completely devoted to her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ray DelGreco in 2006, a daughter in law Irene DelGreco in 2008, four brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are two sons and a daughter in law; Ray DelGreco of Hopewell Twp., Eugene and Connie DelGreco of Weirton, WV, 5 beloved grandchildren, Jill DelGreco, Stephen (Jackie) DelGreco, Joelle (Craig) Slimmer, Danielle (John) DiTomasso and Erin DelGreco, and four great grandchildren, Sammy, Owen, Claudia and Joey.
Friends will be received Sunday from 5-8 p.m. in Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2205 McMinn St. Aliquippa, where a service will be held Monday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Titus Catholic Church in Aliquippa, with Fr. Paul Householder, officiating.
Entombment will follow in Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum- Hopewell Township.
