KOLOPAJLO, Adam M. "Marty", 68, of Marysville, Ohio, formerly of Brilliant, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, after a brief illness.
He was born January 2, 1944, in Steubenville, Ohio, a son of the late Adam S. and Katherine "Kay" (Roe) Kolopajlo.
Adam served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He worked as a life insurance agent for 25 years at Western-Southern Life Insurance Co. and he also worked for 14 years as a currier and supervisor for new store set-up at Rue 21. Adam was Protestant by faith and a member of the Brilliant American Legion Post 573.

Surviving are his wife, Sherry (Holman) Kolopajlo, whom he married on December 2, 1971; four sons, Marty Kolopajlo of Kingston Springs, Tennessee, Jeff Kolopajlo of Wheeling, WV, Christopher (Holly) Kolopajlo of Marysville, Ohio, and Eric Kolopajlo of Columbus, Ohio; a daughter, Kelly (Eric) Houk of Sylvania, Ohio; a brother, Fred (Sharon) Kolopajlo of Mingo Junction, Ohio; and seven grandchildren, Kari, Sara, Levi, Seth, Adam, Caitlyn and Duncan Kolopajlo.
Friends will be received on Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 712 Third St., Brilliant, where his funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Sam Retzer, officiating. Entombment will follow at Fort Steuben Burial Estates in Wintersville, Ohio, with Military Honors by the Brilliant American Legion Post 573.
There will be a Legion service on Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
