To the editor:
A new sports complex has just been built at Weir High School.
The Weir High girls soccer team was due to be the first team to play on the field, however Principal Dan Enich decided to have the girls soccer team move its game to a new location (where they would have to rent a field and cost the taxpayers more money), so that the Weir High football team can play the first game on the field.
I, along with others involved as boosters at Weir High School, find this to be a slap in the face of the girls soccer teams. Calls and e-mails have been sent to Hancock County Superintendent Suzan Smith to no avail.
