SAUNDERS, Cleo, 82, of Weirton, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012, at the UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.
Born on Oct. 14, 1929, in Suttons Bay, Michigan, Cleo was the daughter of the late Robert S. and Mary Louise Getman Gain. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William T. Saunders, on August 5, 1992 and her second husband, Dennis A. Pleasants on September 30, 2010; son Barry W. Saunders on March 2, 2003, daughter, Maureen Saunders, on March 28, 2011, and brother, Dale M. Gain.
Cleo was a homemaker who enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. She was a member of Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church, Christian Mothers, and Williams Country Club.
She is survived by her son, Kevin W. (Donna) Saunders of Centerville, OH; Alicia (John) Rinkus of Yardley, PA; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received Friday, July 20 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton, WV. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday at Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church Weirton, WV with Reverend Father Larry Dorsch presiding. Interment will follow at Saint Paul Cemetery, Weirton.
