CORSI, Alfred "Phil," 72, of Cranston, RI, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012 at RI Hospital in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Iannotti) Corsi.
Born in Steubenville, OH, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Florence (Minella) Corsi.
Phil was a bus driver for RIPTA for many years. He was also the owner and operator of Corsi Painting Co. for the past 35 years. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran serving during the Vietnam War and was a member of the Kelly Gazzero VFW Post 2812 of Cranston.

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Christopher Corsi, Lindsay Cramer, Angela Corsi and Jaclyn Raspallo and loving grandfather of five. He was the dear brother of Victor, Patrick and James Corsi, Mary Cowser, Edith Rice, Antoinette Gibbons, Marjorie Zamana and the late Joseph Corsi.
His funeral was held on Wednesday, July 18 with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Church in Cranston, followed by interment with military honors at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.
