BROWN, Quindilia, 90, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt, of Rush Run, Rayland, OH, died Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry,OH.
She was born Feb. 3, 1922, in Warrenton, OH, to the late Sante and Vincenza Plebani Agostini.
She is a former employee of G.C. Murphy, and a member of the Rush Run Methodist Church. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, vegetable and flower gardening, as well as cooking and baking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Brown, to whom she was a loving wife; and three brothers, Ernest, Sam and Geno Agostini.
Surviving are two sons, George (Marsha) Brown of Rush Run, and Samuel Brown of Tiltonsville and his fiancee, Donna Kirpsak of Pittsburgh; a sister, Phyllis (Mike) Nameth of Rayland, OH; granchildren, Gena (Christopher) Taylor, Marty (Deana) Brown, Heather (Doug) Flesch, and Jennifer (Kevin) Scott; and great-grandchildren, Alexis and Matthew Scott; Zachary and Jacob Flesch, Tiffany, Hailey and Gabriella Taylor, and Carter and Carsyn Brown.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Quindilia and celebrate her life Friday 4-8 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Roger Wayne officiating. Burial will be at Upland Cemetery, Yorkville, Ohio.
