To the editor:
We the people of the United States have a real problem with President Barack Obama, the last being Obamacare. We felt at least part of the bill would be ruled unconstitutional because it forced people to buy health insurance even if they didn't want it. If you do not buy insurance, you will be fined starting in 2014. It was argued in the Supreme Court that the Commerce Clause allowed them to do this.
The Supreme Court ruled they could not do this, but Chief Justice John Roberts gave them a loophole and stated if the money collected was collected as a tax, it would be legal, and, by a 5-4 vote, the Supreme Court passed Obamacare.
We cannot get rid of Roberts - he must retire or die there. This is one reason to make Obama one-term president.
Another reason is his attack on producers of coal. He had made it clear that he wants coal miners out of business. He does not want oil exploration, either. Both industries give work to thousands of families. Not only does it give work to them, but it makes the United States rely less on getting oil from foreign countries, many of which hate the United States.
Then there is his attack on the Catholic religion, making the church spend money on things that are against the religion.
It is time for all Americans, including coal miners, oil and gas workers, Catholics and members of other religions and, yes, Democrats, to make Obama a one-term president.
