WILSON, Mary Catherine, 93, of Wintersville, formerly of Richmond, passed away Monday, July 23, 2012, at the Sienna Woods Nursing Facility in Wintersville, OH.
She was born March 8, 1919, in Toronto, OH, daughter of the late Christopher C. and Catherine (McGivern) Haynes.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Okey Wilson; son, Lawrence Wilson; three brothers, Bill, John, and Tom Haynes; and two sisters, Peg Barker and Helen Wickham.
She is survived by three sons, Bob (Pat) Stewart of Dayton, Texas, David (Tracie) Wilson of Steubenville, OH, and Jim (Sandra) Wilson of Richmond, OH; three daughters, Virginia (Richard) Stimpert, Patricia Scott both of Toronto, OH, and Darlene (David) Dees of Ocala, FL; brother, Charles (Sandy) Haynes of Katy, Texas; 29 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and two great- great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Everhart-Bove Funeral Home, 685 Canton Road, Wintersville.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Church, Toronto, OH, with Father Thomas Vennitti celebrant.
Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary, Steubenville.
There will be a vigil service 2 p.m. Wednesday.
