SHERNISKY, Robert K., 83, of Toronto, OH, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at Sienna Woods.
He was born Aug. 10, 1928, in Steubenville, OH, a son of the late Andrew and Susan Klema Shernisky.
Robert was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church. He was an avid Big Red and Ohio State fan.
Robert retired from the strip steel department of Weirton Steel and was a member of the Weirton Steel 25-Year Club.
Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Ruth V. Mills.
Surviving are his wife, Freda J. (Williams) Shernisky; son, Robert A. Shernisky of Akron, OH; daughter, Patti (Richard) West of Stratton, OH and grandson, Patrick A. West. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, Wintersville on Thursday 4-7 p.m. and at St. Mark Lutheran Church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Vicar Eric Rapp officiating (Everyone please meet at church).
Entombment at Union Cemetery.
