FUTCH, Shirley L. 77, of Mingo Junction, OH, passed away Monday July 30, 2012 at Trinity Medical Center West in Steubenville, OH.
She was born November 26, 1934 in Steubenville, OH, a daughter of the late Paul L. Castner and Mary Elizabeth (Berdine) Cunningham.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Futch; a son, Lawrence Miller; two brothers, Charles and Raymond Castner; and an infant sister, Barbara Castner. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Family of God Christian Center in Weirton, WV. She enjoyed singing and music.
Surviving are a son, Mark Julian and his companion Catherine McKitrick of Mingo Junction; three grandchildren, Michael Julian, Brandon Julian and Kayla McKitrick; and a great-grandson, Micah Julian.
Friends will be received at the Wheeler Funeral Home, 101 Longview Ave., MingoJunction, on Thursday from 3 p.m. until the time of her funeral services at 7 p.m., with Pastor Craig Greathouse, officiating. Private burial at Highland Hills Memorial Gardens in Follansbee, WV.
