STOREY, Esther, age 102, of Weirton, WV and formerly of Ravenna, OH and Brownsville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, in Serra Manor, Weirton, WV.
She was born on Sept. 16, 1909, in Perryopolis, PA, daughter of the late Frank and Essie Hess Geho.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, William Storey who died on May 27, 2000; son, William Storey Jr. in 1991; son-in-law, William Zubricky; three sisters, and one brother.
She is survived by three daughters, Eleanor Bennett and husband, William, Weirton, WV, Ruth Ann Zubricky, Fayette City, PA, and Joyce Pennock and husband Robert, Southport, NC;daughter-in-law, Dorothy Storey, Daytona Beach, FL; 11 grandchildren; 19 great- grandchildren; 17 great-great-grand children; and several nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Weirton, WV; Women of the Moose, Ravenna, OH Chapter 540; and 60 year member of the Daughters of the America, Stow, OH Chapter 192.
She loved to make quilts, crochet and other crafts.
Friends will be received in the Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park St., Brownsville, PA on Friday from 2-8 p.m, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday at noon. Interment in Beallsville Cemetery.
