STEVENS, Joe, 63, of Weirton, W.Va., died Thursday, August 2, 2012.
Born March 7, 1949, in Columbus, OH, a son of the late Leslie and Elsie (Wise) Stevens Sr.
Joe formerly worked for Bill Pryor's Construction.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Michael Stevens and a sister, Tina Dunffee.
He leaves behind his wife, Elizabeth (DeGarmo) Stevens of Weirton; three sons, Joe Lee (Brenda) Stevens, William Stevens and Donald (Jeanie) Stevens all of Weirton; a daughter, Jean Ann Stevens of Newell; eight grandchildren, Breannyia, Christina, Adrianna, Brittnee, Summer, William Jr., Joe Jr. , Shane; two great-grand children; Zavi'Onna, Isabella; seven sisters, Shirley Fletcher of Middlebourne, Mary VanHorn of Weirton, Irene Arbogast of Follansbee, Sandra Lamb of Virginia, Jackie Straight of Alma, WV, Belinda Blackwell of Virginia, Gay Bucon of Follansbee and two brothers, Leslie Stevens Jr. of Ohio and Roger Stevens of Weirton.
Visitation will be held today August 3, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Nixon Funeral home in New Cumberland, WV.
Burial will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2012, at the Victory Cemetery, Alma, W.Va.
