WELLSBURG - The Brooke County Health Department holds monthly clinics at the county courthouse located at 204 Courthouse Square.
August clinics include:
8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, immunization and tuberculosis testing and blood pressure clinic.
8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 15, immunization and tuberculosis testing and blood pressure clinic.
8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 22, immunization and tuberculosis testing and blood pressure clinic.
8:30 a.m. to noon and 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 29, immunization and tuberculosis testing and blood pressure clinic.
Immunizations are given from 8:30 a.m. and noon every Wednesday. Those getting immunizations should have prior immunization records at the time of their appointment. Children who are accompanied by someone other than a parent or legal guardian must have an information form and permission form, filled out and signed by a parent or guardian prior to the appointment. Information and permission forms are available during regular business hours from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the health department.
Appointments for free pap smears and mammograms are available. Pregnancy testing and supplies are available weekly by appointment. Sexually transmitted disease testing is available by appointment.
