Connie Lee Geary

GEARY, Connie Lee, 70, of Follansbee, WV, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at Valley Hospice Care North in Steubenville, OH.

Born on June 21, 1942, in Waynesburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Preston Tilman and Rebecca Jane (Ingram) Lewis.

She is also preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Dorothy and Tom Zimmerman who raised her; an infant daughter; Lori Lynn Geary who died in 1964, and a niece, Shirley Eichost.

Connie retired from the Louis Berkman Company where she worked as a receptionist and also worked for R.E.M. West Virginia. She was Presbyterian by faith and attended the Christian Life Apostolic Life Church in Beech Bottom, WV where she accompanied the clients of R.E.M. of WV.

Surviving are three special children, Janet (Preston) Shultz of Weirton, WV, Karen (Tom) Freund of Richmond, OH, and Jeffrey (Melissa) Geary of Weirton, WV; her twin sister whom she was very close to, Carol (Duane) Heck of Follansbee, WV; a brother, Tom (Debbie) Lewis of Leavenworth, KS; her lifelong companion, John Pavlik of Follansbee, WV; five grandchildren whom she adored, Amanda Vice, Danielle Anderson, Taylor Anderson, Dakota Geary and Madison Geary; several nieces and nephews Becky (Rick) Raineri, Doug (Cristi) Heck, Tom (Cindy) Lewis, Tim (Bea) Lewis, Tear (Guy) Moore, Teresa (Steve) Noland, Kathy (Mark) McKenere; several great nieces and nephews, Ryan, Brittany, Victoria, Olivia, Dawson, and several from Kansas; many friends and co- workers at Louis Berkman Company.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 7, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Mullenbach Funeral Home 669 Main St., Follansbee, WV where services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Jay Armstrong officiating.

Interment will be held privately in St. Johns Cemetery in Colliers, WV.

Memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, OH, 43943.
