MAZALIC, Betty Lou Rice, 82, of Mingo Junction, Ohio, passed Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at Select Specialty Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.
She was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on May 29, 1930, a daughter of the late Amos and Lottie Rager Rice.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George "Jocko" Mazalic; a granddaughter and several brothers and sisters.
Betty is survived by three sons: Clint Mazalic (Neida Cooper) of Mingo Junction, Rob Mazalic of Steubenville, George (Pamela) Mazalic of Black Mt., NC.; three daughters: Tina (Arthur) Ginier of Steubenville, Gina (Billy) Robinson of Mingo Junction, Michelle (Larry) Cranston of Richmond, a brother Ronald (Judy) Rice of Bloomingdale; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, three great-greatgrandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, 5-7 p.m. at Blaschalk-Wilson Funeral Home, 115 Union Street, Mingo Junction, OH. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the family c/o Blaschalk-Wilson Funeral Home.
